"I have never experienced anything like it: sober, drunk, or on any kind of drug. It was a whole new state of being."
- A passenger from the 2008 You Me Bum Bum Train ride
You Me Bum Bum Train is an experiential form of live art that will leave you completely overwhelmed and exhilarated. As a sole participant, you are guided in a wheelchair through a maze of 15-20 independent realities that feature over eighty performers. Unlike any other theatrical experience, the show is based around you: the sole audience member throughout the entire journey.
You are continuously catapulted into unimaginable situations, becoming a winning game show contestant, a barber, and a boxer to name a few, before you are reintroduced to the outside world; mesmerised, uplifted, and psychologically stirred as never before.
Since 2004 You Me Bum Bum Train has taken place in various unusual spaces, from redundant offices to pub cellars. The scenes and venue change with every production in order to keep audience members in a constant state of surprise. Performers adapt to each individual's response to the situation, making everyone's journey a completely unique and unforgettable adventure.
"What has been one of London's more obtuse treasures is set to become one of Great Britain's proudest moments" Dazed and Confused
"It leaves you questioning everything. And it's lots of fun." The Times
